The horned butcher of the old kingdom – Creature design

A colossal divine beast that embodies the arrogance and ferocity of ancient feline deities. Its form merges the grace of a panther with the divine dread of a forgotten god. Worshipped in ruins across the land, the Obsidian Emperor is said to have once guarded the celestial gate between light and shadow — until it devoured the sun’s reflection and was cursed to prowl the mortal realm forever.

Black Myth Wukong inspired Monster Concept Design. The creature’s massive arms drag deep gouges into the stone as it moves. Feline hind legs allow sudden, impossible bursts of speed, while a long, flowing tail whips like a banner of spirit fire. Huge curling horns, adorned with the shattered jewelry of fallen priests, gleam faintly in the dark — each ornament ringing softly like a bell of mourning. Bits of ornate armor and silk talismans flutter around its body, remnants of the temple’s divine vestments now corrupted and alive with restless energy.
